Weekly Update 1

Welcome to Weekly Updates!

This page will give you a glimpse into what life, for me, looks like in the Nation's Capital! This will include any fun events, things happening through the government, and some of the special ceremonies that occur here.

In addition, I will take you through some of the random things I come across. As in any city, there are bound to be a few things that you look at and go "well that's a new one." This city is far from that exception and I will always find something that reminds me I live in a shocking and ever changing place. This blog area will also let me address your city questions and places you want me to see.

The other categories are reserved for your political questions and thoughts. You can ask me to cover something being taken up in Congress, an executive order (EO), or even a case in the Supreme Court. Now, as I have said in numerous political discussions I have had, I am not here to argue with you. If you ask me a question, or ask me to cover something, I am going to do so with the most neutral tone I can. I a firm believer that somewhere along the line we lost the ability to have healthy discussions related to politics. I know most of my family and I will never see the same side of the aisle. But, that will never stop me from making sure if we do cross sides, we do so knowing we have the best informed opinion and another perspective on the situation at hand.

So, from the city to the government and anything in between, fire away! Ask any question you can think of, ask for pictures of monuments, day or night, ask for whatever your heart desires and I will do whatever I can to answer and cover it accurately!
