This Month's Book
February: On theme with the month of love, this club decided to stick with romance. Despite some objections (just me, since I read too much romance already), we went ahead and commenced our month of love!
This book is called "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller. An AMAZING book - get to reading!

My Reads
Though I am an active participant in the book club, there are plenty of books I read outside of it in whatever free time I may have. These range from romance, literary fiction, and young adult. They carry many different themes, thought-provoking questions, and even call into question settled parts of our lives.

Now, I know what you may be thinking... "How am I going to join a book club with people I don't know, are probably younger than me, and go without having someone there to introduce me and make it less awkward?" I'm so glad you asked! Due to me living so far away, and sometimes poor weather conditions, there is always a virtual opportunity to attend!

Don't be shy! Everyone reads different things and has different interests. But that's what makes a book club fun! It doesn't matter if we all read that kind of thing daily, it exposes us to new things and even gets us to think on something different than we normally would!
